Recognizing that your child may have a developmental delay can be a frightening experience for a parent. But you are not alone \u2013 the Infant & Toddler Connection of Shenandoah Valley has the resources to help both you and your child.<\/p>

Families teach their children everyday \u2013 they make the greatest difference in their child\u2019s development. We support families by providing coaching and mentoring services in their homes to help them learn to incorporate activities and exercises into the child\u2019s existing daily routine.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Children under age three are eligible for early intervention services if they display one or more of the following symptoms:<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\u2022 25% or greater delay<\/strong> in cognitive, physical, communication, social, emotional or adaptive development
\u2022 Atypical development<\/strong> such as behavioral disorders, affected disorders, abnormal sensory-motor responses
\u2022 A diagnosed physical or mental condition<\/strong> that has a high probability of resulting in developmental delay<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Infant & Toddler Connection of Shenandoah Valley is here to support both children and their families in helping them reach their full potential. Before your child can receive early intervention services, there are a few steps that will need to be taken.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
